Barbara Wine Collective is offering a special wine flight featuring
standout wines from Santa Barbara County. Enjoy live music while
tasting Kalyra Viognier 2021, Fiddlehead Sauvignon Blanc 2021,
Hitching Post Gen Red 2022, and the celebrated Hitching Post Sideways
Highliner Pinot Noir 2021. This curated flight with a special
appearance by Winemakers Frank Ostini and Gray Hartley offers a taste
of the region’s rich wine heritage, perfect for fans of the film

us for an amazing, multi-course dinner (see the MENU) held under tent, to celebrate
the 20th Anniversary of the Academy Award-winning film SIDEWAYS. Among
the entrees is smoked duck paired with the rare Hitching Post 2001
Highliner Pinot Noir that made its debut in the movie along with the
just released 2021 Highliner-SIDEWAYS 20th Anniversary commemorative
bottling. The evening will begin at 5 pm with a reception of passed
appetizers followed by an impressive four course meal. Chef Winemaker
Frank Ostini and Winemaker Gray Hartley will be on hand to share their
SIDEWAYS experiences and whimsical stories.

Join us at Hitching Post II, an iconic location featured in the award-winning film SIDEWAYS as we celebrate the film's 20th anniversary! There will be savory bites from Hitching Post II and other Buellton restaurants, wines from over a dozen Sta. Rita Hills and Buellton wineries, along with local artisan beers, and live music. We will have Instagram-able moments from the film scattered throughout the venue and an appearance by SIDEWAYS actress Virginia Madsen. Limited tickets for an intimate gathering.

fall marks the 20th Anniversary of the Academy Award-winning film
Sideways, now streaming on Hulu. Hotel Californian is partnering with
Searchlight Films and Hitching Post Wines on a celebratory
complimentary screening on the anniversary of the film's US debut.
Bring a blanket and gather on the Court of Califia at Hotel Californian
for an outdoor movie night. Movie screening is complimentary, and
available on a first-come, first-served basis as space allows.
Join winemakers Frank Ostini and Gray Hartley of Hitching Post Wines for a VIP Meet + Greet prior to the screening for a taste of their anniversary Highliner Pinot Noir from the movie, small bites, and to hear about their experience with filming Sideways. Santa Barbara Wine Auction is a biennial event where the wine industry
comes together to raise funds for Direct Relief’s work to
provide
essential medical resources to doctors and community health workers
worldwide, regardless of politics, religion, or ability to pay.
The weekend includes a Friday night tasting event. A Gala
Dinner
and Live Auction will be held on Saturday. At the Gala, guests will
have the opportunity to bid on unique experiences and rare wines, and
raise their paddle to support Community Health Centers, an organization
that provides critical healthcare to our community, including many of
